Meet Dr. Shalini Pachauri, PT, tDPT
Founder/Owner, Physical Therapist
As a young child, my parents said I had healing hands. I understood the significance of that when I became a physical therapist and my patients gave me the same feedback. I love taking pain away from people. I did my under graduation from India and I was a home mom for 15 years before I got back into the profession of physical therapy in 2017.
Since 2018, I have been a dedicated Physical Therapist focusing on pelvic floor therapy for a variety of conditions — alongside general orthopedic and sports injury management. My experience includes roles in acute care and rehabilitation, including significant volunteer work at Stanford Health Care and El Camino Hospital, contributing to injury prevention programs and specialized care for older adults. My foundational experience as a Physical Therapist in India further enriches my understanding of diverse patient needs. I hold a Transitional Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and am committed to providing patient-centered care that promotes lasting functional improvement.
I specialize in pelvic floor therapy, providing expert care for conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, diastasis recti, as well as pre- and post-natal rehabilitation. My treatment approach integrates manual therapy, Graston techniques, Kinesiotaping, Cupping, and targeted therapeutic exercises. Dedicated to empowering patients through education and personalized home exercise programs to achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life. My skills extend to general orthopedic issues and sports injuries, underpinned by a Transitional Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
